Where do the ingredients come from? Soybeans grown in Yeongyang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea, are contract-grown or purchased directly. Solar sea salt is produced by traditional methods on the tidal flats of Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do.
Does it have a chalky taste? The soybeans retain their texture, avoiding the heavy taste associated with crushed beans. It has a clean taste and can also be used as ssamjang, a wrap dipping sauce.
